With over 30 years of experience, Bigben Interactive has achieved an optimal level of quality and safety of its products.
By displaying genuine concern for respecting consumers, the company has also committed to respecting the environment and even anticipates upcoming regulations.
Respect for consumers, quality and safety
In a recent IPSOS study carried out for Bigben Interactive, the quality of its products is considered a major factor in motivating consumer choices. “This is the result of work achieved over several years, explains Yannick Allaert, Director of Accessories for the Group. We have put a lot of effort into this aspect to establish and improve our image with game players.”
From the test labs and in close coordination with the company’s R&D staff, new procedures have been introduced to guarantee this level of quality and traceability as well as to improve user safety when playing these games.
Respect and commitment concerning the environment
In parallel with this quest for quality, Bigben Interactive has established a policy intended to limit the impact of its business on the environment. In accordance with European regulations, the manufactured accessories sold on the market conform to the “ROHS” standard and the “REACH” European Directive, which limit the use of certain dangerous substances and which require that all products used be analysed and tested, and customer safety information provided. Yet Bigben Interactive has gone beyond the prerogatives established by these directives for several years now by conforming to European Directive 2099/48/CE relating to the toy industry. “This Directive does not apply to our products, yet for a long time now, we have been voluntarily complying with its provisions, states Christian Donnet, Head of Quality, Safety &Environment Department at Bigben Interactive. Both internal and external audits are carried out regularly by independent international experts.”
